Hi, this is Mayor Mac Womack and I sincerely hope you and your family are getting by okay in this snow. We have a rule in town that when there is a certain amount of snow accumulation, like there is today, no one can leave cars or vehicles parked on township streets. I've authorized the towing of any vehicles that are on the streets because they will be blocking our plows from being able to clear the streets and we need them clear for emergency vehicles.
If you've not moved your car yet, please do so. Put it in your driveway or in your yard and if you have no place that you know that you can move your car, go to www.northbrunswicknj.gov for locations where your vehicle can be moved. If you have a neighbor who is unable to move a vehicle because of disability or infirmity, do the neighborly thing and lend a hand.
