Winter Storm Fern continues to impact our area with a mix of snow, sleet and freezing rain expected to last until tomorrow. Please continue to avoid travelling during the storm and allow extra time after the storm passes to allow the Department of Public Works to clear the roads. 

There are no reported power outages at this time. If you do experience an outage, call PSE&G at 800-436-7734. Down wires or other hazards should be reported by calling 9-1-1. 

The Winter Storm Warning and the State of Emergency remains in effect and the following will be closed on Monday, January 26th:

• Leonia Public Schools 
• Leonia Public Library
• Leonia Borough Hall
• Leonia Municipal Center
• Leonia Recreation Center
• Leonia Senior Center
• Leonia Senior Bus Services are cancelled

Thank you for your continued cooperation by remaining off of the roads and not throwing snow into the street. We also want to thank the DPW staff, firefighters and police officers who have been working hard throughout the storm.  We will continue to provide updates if needed.
