Emergency Warming Centers Open Monday, January 26
As extremely cold temperatures continue across Prince George’s County, M-NCPPC, Department of Parks and Recreation will operate emergency warming centers on Monday, January 26, to provide safe, heated spaces for residents in need.
Warming Centers Open Monday, January 26:
- Rollingcrest-Chillum Community Center | Open 24 hours
- Prince George’s Sports & Learning Complex | 8:00 am–6:00 pm
- Suitland Community Center | 8:00 am–6:00 pm
These locations are available for individuals and families without heat, those experiencing homelessness, or anyone seeking relief from the extreme cold. For additional warming center accommodations, please visit princegeorgescountymd.gov.
Residents are encouraged to limit unnecessary travel, check on neighbors, especially older adults and individuals with disabilities, and take steps to stay safe and warm.
