Safety remains the City’s top priority as crews continue responding to the snow storm. On Monday, January 26, 2026, to help protect residents, visitors, and City staff, and to allow snow removal operations to proceed safely and efficiently, several City services are experiencing delays, closures, and cancellations across the City of Asbury Park.

City Hall will have a delayed opening at 10am.

Asbury Park School District schools are closed.

Garbage collection is cancelled. Please do not place garbage cans at the curb until your next regularly scheduled pickup window.

Parking enforcement is suspended citywide to aid in parking availability and snow removal. For more information on parking after a snowstorm, visit www.cityofasburypark.com/snow.
Conditions may continue to change as cleanup efforts continue. Residents are encouraged to limit travel when possible and give Public Works and emergency crews the space needed to safely clear streets and sidewalks.
