The Monroe Township Department of Public Works will continue conducting plowing and salting operations on township roadways throughout the day and overnight. Residents are asked to keep vehicles off the streets to assist crews in safely and efficiently clearing the roads.
Residents are also reminded that, in accordance with Monroe Township Ordinance 105-29, all property owners and tenants are responsible for removing snow and ice from the sidewalks adjacent to their property, as well as clearing snow from fire hydrants located on or near their property. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated and helps ensure that children can travel safely to school and bus stops tomorrow morning.
Please refrain from blowing or shoveling snow back into the roadway.
