Madison County Travel Status Lowered to Watch
From: Madison County Emergency Management
Monday January 26th 1:00PM
Due to improved road conditions and the diligent work of the highway department the Madison County Board of Commissioners are lowering the county travel status back to Watch Level. You may experience some drifting and snow-covered roadways but all are passable at this time.
A Watch
Means that conditions are threatening to the safety of the public. During a "watch" local travel advisory, only essential travel, such as to and from work or in emergency situations, is recommended, and emergency action plans should be implemented by businesses, schools, government agencies and other organizations.
