The City of Albany has declared a snow emergency that will BEGIN on Tuesday, January 27th at 8:00 p.m. and end on Thursday, January 29th at 8:00 p.m.
All normal parking rules and regulations will be temporarily suspended for 48-hours at the beginning of the snow emergency.
Please note that normal rules and regulations are still in place for Monday, January 26th.
Snow emergency details BEGINNING on Tuesday, January 27th at 8:00 p.m. are listed below:
-The first 24-hours of the snow emergency ALL vehicles must be parked on the even numbered side of the street.
-The last 24-hours of the snow emergency ALL vehicles must be parked on the odd numbered side of the street.
-If your vehicle is parked on the wrong side of the street during the snow emergency, your vehicle will be ticketed and towed to allow DGS to safely remove snow from the streets.
