Controlled Burn on Great Dunes Golf Course 1/27 
Please be advised that on January 27, 2025, from approximately 10 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., the Jekyll Island Authority will conduct a controlled burn on small patches of land along the Great Dunes Golf Course and the wildlife corridor.
The burn does not pose any threat to nearby homes or structures. No road closures are planned, but please use caution in the area.
All burn plans have been approved by Georgia Forestry and will be managed and monitored by the Jekyll Island Fire Department and the JIA Conservation team.
