It has been reported that several manhole covers have been dislodged, damaged, or completely missing from their locations. This can happen due to expanded ice as well as snow plows hitting them if they've been raised by ice. If anyone locates a manhole/maintenance hatch that needs to be addressed, please avoid going near it, and call the police department right away at 732-615-2100 and we will respond to make the area safe so that TOMSA can make immediate repairs and replace the cover.
