Advisory

❄️🚨Dangerous Cold Expected This Week🚨❄️

The Bridgewater Police Department and the Bridgewater Office of Emergency Management continue to monitor the winter weather.

DPW worked all night and will continue today, Monday, to clear our streets. Please do not call about a road unplowed. We have a list and we are doing our best to clear the roads. When clearing your driveway and sidewalks, please do not push the snow onto the road.

With an update, cold weather is expected this week:

● Dangerous cold is expected to continue through this weekend. Wind chills and temperatures in the single digits to below zero are expected for several consecutive nights. Temperatures will not rise above freezing until at least this weekend. Prolonged exposure to dangerous wind chills could result in hypothermia or frostbite if precautions are not taken. Impacts to energy infrastructure are possible due to increased heating demand.

● Low chance (25-35%) of another system impacting our area this upcoming weekend. Confidence remains low on what, if any, impacts will be.
