Technical Issues with Silent Knight Fire Safety System 
Skagway Police Dispatch is currently experiencing technical issues receiving fire alarm notifications from outside of the Public Safety Building, we are hoping to have the issue resolved soon. If you hear a fire alarm, see fire strobes, smell or see smoke, assume Skagway Police Dispatch is unaware and dial 911 immediately. The Skagway Fire Department will be conducting periodic Fire Watches to help ensure the safety of the community until this issue is resolved.
