Snow Removal Reminder for Residents: Sidewalks and Fire Hydrants
Dear Residents,
This is a friendly reminder to comply with snow removal ordinances. Property owners are responsible for keeping required sidewalks and fire hydrants clear of snow and ice. A list of streets and their associated requirements is attached for your reference.
With the possibility of additional snowfall this weekend, we kindly ask residents to remain mindful and continue clearing snow as conditions allow.
Please help support our firefighters by clearing snow within a five-foot radius around all fire hydrants. Keeping these areas accessible helps emergency personnel respond more quickly and safely when needed.
Your cooperation is greatly appreciated and helps keep our community safe. Thank you for your continued assistance.
Sincerely,
Franklin Lakes Police
