Wilmington Police have arrested a juvenile male in connection to a robbery incident.
On January 20th at approximately 7:40 p.m., a member of the Special Operations Division responded to the 100 block of Burton Place in reference to a robbery that had just occurred. The officer made contact with the victim and obtained a description of the suspect. Through further investigation, police identified a 13-year-old male as the suspect.
On January 21st officers located the 13-year-old male in the 500 block of North Madison Street and he was taken into custody without incident.
The 13-year-old male has been charged with the following offenses:
- Robbery (Second Degree)
- Offensive Touching
He was arraigned in the Justice of the Peace Court 11 and released on $1,100 secured-bail.
