Snow Event: Snow and Ice Removal Reminder
Glen Rock property owners are required to clear snow and ice from sidewalks within 24 hours after a storm ends (3 days). Although the current compliance period extends through Thursday, please note that the longer snow and ice remain, the more difficult they are to remove.
Instructions:
Sidewalks must be fully cleared to ensure pedestrian safety. It is illegal to plow, blow, or shovel snow into the street.
Failure to comply may result in the Borough removing the snow at the property owner’s expense, along with possible fines or other penalties.
Property owners with fire hydrants on or adjacent to their property are also required to clear snow at least 3 feet in all directions around the hydrant to ensure accessibility for emergency services.
Thank you for your cooperation in keeping Glen Rock safe and accessible for all residents.
