Please be advised that trash pickup originally scheduled for this past Monday will now take place tomorrow morning beginning at 6:00 a.m.
Additionally, snow removal operations will resume tomorrow morning starting at 8:00 a.m. Snow removal was delayed due to the Police Department having to ticket, tow, and remove approximately 100 vehicles from city streets.
To allow crews to safely and efficiently complete snow removal, all vehicles must be removed from the roadway by 8:00 a.m.
This applies to the following streets and avenues: 12th, 13th, 14th, 15th, 16th, 18th, and Clinton Streets, 3rd through 9th Avenues from 155th Street to 19th Street
Any vehicles remaining on the roadway after 8:00 a.m. will be subject to ticketing and towing.
If anyone has visiting nurses or contractors scheduled to come to your house tomorrow and you live in these areas, please let them know about the snow emergeny and encourage them to listen for police or to park elsewhere.
