Recreation announces Youth Spring Sports: Hoboken Little League registration begins Jan. 30; RBI Softball registration starts Feb. 2
Baseball and softball registration announced
The City of Hoboken announced that registration for Hoboken Little League Baseball will open on Friday, Jan, 30, and Hoboken RBI Softball will open on Monday, Feb. 2.
Registration is rolling and will close on Friday, Feb. 20 at 11:30 p.m.
These programs are offered through partnerships between Hoboken Little League, Hoboken RBI Softball, and the City’s Division of Recreation, provide both fundamental skill development for new players and competitive opportunities for experienced athletes.
Hoboken Little League Baseball serves players ages 7–16, and Hoboken RBI Softball serves players ages 5–18. There are no capacity limits for these programs but all registration paperwork must be completed and submitted by the Feb. 20, 11:30 p.m. deadline. If the registration paperwork is not complete, the player will not be considered registered and will not be eligible to play.

Register for instructional Spring sports
The City will also open registration for all Spring youth sports starting the week of Feb. 16, 2026 on RecDesk at https://hoboken.recdesk.com/Community/Home:
- 6-Year-Old T-Ball Registration opens on Monday, Feb. 16, at 5 p.m.
- Instructional Diamond Sports (Ages 4–5) opens on Tuesday, Feb. 17 at 5 p.m.
- Hawks Special Needs Baseball opens on Tuesday, Feb. 17, at 5 p.m.
- Instructional Softball (Ages 3–4) opens on Wednesday, Feb. 18, at 5 p.m.
- Instructional Ball Hockey opens on Thursday, Feb. 19, at 5 p.m.
- Instructional Lacrosse opens on Friday, Feb. 20, at 5 p.m.
- Instructional Tennis opens on Wednesday, March 4, at 5 p.m.
Registration for these programs is first come, first served. Space is limited. Registration fees will be waived for families who qualify for free or reduced lunch.
