Emergency Snow Removal (Phase 1)

Winter Storm Recovery – Emergency Snow Removal - Phase 1

 
On behalf of Mayor Michael Johnson and the Haledon Municipal Council, please be advised that the removal of excess snow from our major thoroughfares will begin tomorrow, Friday, January 30, 2026.
 
Areas to Be Covered Friday, January 30, 2026:
 
Lee Avenue (between Barbour Street and Legion Place)
 
Barbour Street (between Lee Avenue and Cliff Street)
 
Cliff Street (between Barbour Street and Granite Avenue)
 
Accordingly, Emergency No Parking signs have been posted.

ALL vehicles must be moved by 8:00 AM and remain off these streets until 5:00 PM on Friday, January 30, 2026.
 
Residents are urged to park in their respective driveways. Residents may also park at Haledon Public School, which will be closed tomorrow.
 
Curbside trash pickup remains on schedule.
 
Important Reminders:
 
All snow, including sidewalks and vehicles, must always be cleared within 24 hours after snowfall.
 
Please remember to clear snow from fire hydrants.
 
Do NOT use objects to reserve parking spaces.
 
Failure to comply may result in a summons.
