Update Reminder: Parking Restrictions and Recycling Pickup – Saturday, January 31, 2026
Dear Residents and Business Owners,
This message serves as a reminder that the previously issued parking advisory for North Main Street and South Main Street (from Plainsboro Road to Old Trenton Road) is still in effect for this Saturday, January 31, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. through 6:00 p.m.
The Middlesex County Department of Public Works will proceed as scheduled with snow removal operations utilizing large snow-removal equipment and dump trucks.
Recycling Pickup:
Recycling collection will occur as scheduled. Residents and businesses are asked to place recycling cans out accordingly. If recycling pickup has not occurred prior to snow operations, the County will temporarily move and redeploy containers as necessary to allow for collection.
Parking Information:
“No Parking” signs will remain in effect until snow removal operations are completed. Parking will be restored once the signs are removed, which will occur in approximately two-block increments at a time as work progresses.
Vehicles parked in restricted areas during posted times may be subject to fines and/or towing to ensure operations can be completed safely and efficiently.
We appreciate your continued cooperation and understanding as these efforts are essential to maintaining safe roadway conditions.
Respectfully,
Giuseppe N. DeChiara
Chief of Police
