This weekend, January 31 & February 1
- Public Works will be scraping city roads as needed.
- Please stay home if possible to keep roads clear for emergency services and NCDOT.

- Polk County will have their Emergency Operations Center again, so if you have a nonemergency issue, you can contact county staff at 828-722-5278.
- Currently the Polk County Emergency Shelters are not open, but they have staff on standby to open if needed.
- Trash services are scheduled for normal service on Monday, February 2, but that is subject to change.
