INCIDENT: Fatal crash
LOCATION: I-15 South On-ramp/ Frontage Road
VICTIM(S): Party #1, Adult Male
SUMMARY: On Friday, January 30, 2026, at about 5:47 a.m., deputies from the Victorville City Police Station, along with Victorville Fire Department and American Medical Response personnel responded to the area of the Interstate 15 south on-ramp and Frontage Road for a single vehicle crash.
Preliminary investigation revealed the vehicle, a white Chevy Traverse, drove north on Frontage Road, swerved off the roadway, crashed and overturned east of Frontage Road and south of the Interstate 15 south on-ramp.
Party #1 sustained major injuries and was later pronounced deceased on scene. The vehicle had a passenger who was transported to Saint Mary Hospital for minor injuries. Members of the Major Accident Investigation Team responded to the scene and assumed the investigation.
Frontage Road between the Interstate 15 south on-ramp and E Street were closed for about four hours for the investigation.
