INCIDENT: Fatal Crash
LOCATION: Amargosa Road / La Mesa Road, Victorville
INVOLVED PARTY: Male, 46-years-old, (pending next of kin notification)
SUMMARY: On Friday, January 30, 2026, at approximately 6:43 p.m., deputies from the Victorville Station, and rescue personnel from the Victorville Fire Department and American Medical Response, responded to a single-vehicle crash which occurred in the area of Amargosa Road and La Mesa Road in the city of Victorville.
Upon arrival, deputies determined that a blue Nissan Rogue was involved in the crash. The driver and sole occupant of the Nissan Rogue sustained major injuries and was transported to a local hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries. The Victorville Major Accident Investigation Team responded and assumed the investigation.
The intersection of Amargosa Road and La Mesa Road was closed for approximately two hours for the investigation.
