Lake effect snow showers will continue across the area through the
early morning. Brief periods of heavy snow reducing visibilities
under one half mile are possible. 1 to 3 inches of accumulation
is possible, with the highest amounts in Berrien County where
accumulation rates may briefly reach 1 inch per hour. Drivers
should be prepared for slick and snow covered roads and variable
road conditions across the region. The lake effect snow is
expected to shift west of the area by 6 AM EST /5 AM CST/.
