Due to severe snow and ice conditions, fines under the Perryville Snow and Ice Removal Code are temporarily suspended for residents.. However, it is crucial to clear sidewalks to ensure students, pedestrians and those with disabilities can safely navigate. Until Friday, January 30th, Cecil County Public Schools will conduct classes virtually from home. Schools may resume in-person instruction starting Monday, February 2nd, so it is essential a path is cleared for children to walk to school. The Town is making efforts to snowblow some sidewalks, but we need our residents' help. Please do not put yourself at risk while shoveling snow and remember to take breaks and stay hydrated.
