There are two water main breaks:
Bainbridge Ave. in Thornwood
Hillside Ave. in Valhalla
The Water Department is working to repair these breaks as quickly as possible. Residents may experience water pressure issues and discolored water. Residents are cautioned to determine if the water is clear before washing clothes (or any other processing) as staining may occur.
Once repairs are complete, residents will be notified. After that, if you experience discolored water run the cold water in all your faucets for approximately 5-10 minutes.
