ESCONDIDO, California – A 22-year-old Valley Center man was killed Sunday morning when he lost control of his vehicle, collided with a tree and rolled over into a home’s back yard. The crash occurred at 3:24 a.m. on East El Norte Pkwy just east of Lincoln Avenue. No other vehicles were involved and there are no known witnesses. Eastbound El Norte Parkway was closed for several hours while investigators were on scene. The driver, whose name is being withheld until his family is notified, was pronounced dead at the scene. It is unknown at this time whether drugs and/or alcohol were factors in the crash.

Hombre de Valley Center muere en un accidente de tránsito en la madrugada ESCONDIDO, California – Un hombre de 22 años de Valley Center falleció el domingo por la mañana al perder el control de su vehículo, chocar contra un árbol y volcar en el patio trasero de una casa. El accidente ocurrió a las 3:24 a. m. en East El Norte Parkway, justo al este de Lincoln Avenue. No hubo otros vehículos involucrados y no se conocen testigos. East El Norte Parkway permaneció cerrada durante varias horas mientras los investigadores trabajaban en el lugar. El conductor, cuyo nombre se mantiene en reserva hasta que se notifique a su familia, fue declarado muerto en el lugar del accidente. Se desconoce por el momento si las drogas o el alcohol fueron factores determinantes en el accidente.
