The Lake in the Hills Police Department will be moving from their current police station at 1115 Crystal Lake Road to their brand-new police headquarters at 2600 Village Hall Drive (behind COSTCO, next to the Lake in the Hills Village Hall).
Move Date: Thursday, February 5, 2026
There will be NO interruption to police services during the move.
On February 5, community members needing police service are asked to please avoid walk-in reports if possible while the move is underway.
Residents may continue to call 847-658-5676 to:

• Request an officer to respond to your location
• File a phone report

Residents may also continue to use the department’s online reporting service available 24/7 by visiting https://www.lith.org/government/departments/police/online-reporting
