Detective Jordan Cox with the McDowell County Sheriff’s Office charged 36-year-old Kasey Miranda Branch of Marion with felony Larceny and felony Possession of Methamphetamine. She was issued a secured bond of $15,000.
On Tuesday, January 13, Det. Cox assisted the N.C. State Highway Patrol with a traffic stop involving Branch. During this time, she was found to have an outstanding felony warrant out of Buncombe County.
A subsequent search of her person and the vehicle turned up a suspected amount of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.
