1. Robbery Arrest (1707) 1400 Block of Woodland Avenue, Lakeview District
The male victim, 56, was leaving his residence when the suspect approached from behind and threatened him if he did not give him his property. The suspect assaulted the victim and fled. Officers located the suspect, and the suspect resisted arrest when they tried to take him into custody. Officers used force to take him into
custody. The victim was uninjured. ARRESTED: Cidni Brown, 26, for attempted robbery and resisting arrest.
2. Carjacking Arrest (2002) 2000 Block of East Main Street, Park District
The female victim, 29, was in the listed area when the suspect approached, brandished a firearm, and demanded the keys to her car. The victim complied, and the suspect fled in her vehicle. Officers located the suspect, who failed to yield and led them on a short pursuit. The suspect was taken into custody after the car
became disabled. Officers also found a loaded gun in the vehicle during a search. ARRESTED: Jose Quintero Gomez, 22, for evading, carjacking, and weapons charges.
3. Weapons Arrest (0252) Roberts Road and Highway 4, Seaport District
Officers conducted a traffic enforcement stop on a vehicle near the listed call location. During the contact, officers observed a firearm in plain view inside the vehicle. The driver was detained without incident and also found to be under the influence. ARRESTED: Luis Montoya, 36, for weapons and DUI charges.
