MONDAY, JANUARY 26, 2026:
 
9:20 AM Community Service Officer (CSO) Lau investigated a stolen vehicle reported near Sycamore St & Thornton Ave.
 
10:53 AM Officer S. Torres performed a pedestrian stop near Sycamore St & Thornton Ave. A 23-year-old male was arrested for outstanding warrants. He was transported to Santa Rita Jail for booking.
 
11:34 AM Officer Lomeli responded to a report of arson near Cedar Blvd & Central Ave.
 
7:35 PM Officer Orozco investigated a window smash vehicle burglary reported near Jarvis Ave & Newark Blvd. A backpack was reported taken from the rear seat.
 
10:17 PM Officer Felix responded to a report of mail theft that occurred near Seawind Way & Hickory St.
 
TUESDAY, JANUARY 27, 2026:
 
7:52 AM Officer Ansari investigated a retail theft reported near Jarvis Ave & Newark Blvd.
 
8:17 AM Officer Jou investigated a stolen vehicle reported near Newark Blvd & Thornton Ave.
 
1:15 PM Officer Jou conducted a warrant check near Cedar Blvd & Edgewater Dr. A 38-year-old male was arrested for possession of a stolen vehicle and narcotics, and outstanding warrants. He was transported to Santa Rita Jail for booking.
 
1:50 PM Officer Quinonez investigated a vehicle burglary reported near Cedar & Stevenson Boulevards. Reported loss included a backpack with personal items.
 
2:28 PM Officer Lor investigated a package theft reported near Cherry St & Baine Ave.

12:33 PM CSO Lau investigated a license plate theft reported near Thornton Ave & Spruce St.
 
1:58 PM Officer Ansari responded to a report of a person brandishing a knife and attempting to deflate a tire near Cedar & Stevenson Boulevards. A 56-year-old male was cited.
 
THURSDAY, JANUARY 29, 2026:
 
4:52 AM Officer Jackman investigated a vehicle theft reported near Mayhews Landing Rd & Newark Blvd.
 
5:25 AM Officer Felix investigated a vehicle theft reported near Cherry St & Dairy Ave.
 
5:30 AM Officer Jackman investigated a vehicle theft reported near Cedar Blvd & & Haley St. The vehicle was recovered a few blocks away.
 
8:00 AM Officer Jou responded to a dispute near Cedar Blvd & Mowry School Road. A 32-year-old male was arrested for battery and theft. He was transported to Santa Rita Jail for booking.
 
9:07 AM CSO Lau investigated a vehicle theft reported near Cherry St & Dairy Ave.
 
11:54 AM Officer Felix conducted a pedestrian stop near Balentine Dr & Stevenson Blvd. A 30-year-old male was arrested for possession of weapons. He was transported to Santa Rita Jail for booking.
 
1:59 PM Officer Piquette investigated a vehicle theft reported near Cedar Blvd & Joaquin Murieta Ave. A 50-year-old male was arrested for possession of a stolen vehicle. He was transported to Santa Rita Jail for booking.
 
7:51 PM Officer Berlanga responded to a report of individuals ingesting narcotics in plain view near Cedar Blvd & Joaquin Murieta Ave. A 34-year-old female was arrested for an outstanding warrant. She was transported to Santa Rita Jail for booking.
 
FRIDAY, JANUARY 30, 2026:
 
1:14 AM Officer Ansari conducted a warrant check near Stevenson Blvd & Parada St. A 39-year-old male was cited.
 
8:21 AM Officer Shaffer responded to a disturbance reported near Cedar & Stevenson Boulevards. A 33-year-old male was cited for narcotics and attempting to leave the scene.
 
10:31 AM Officer Cervantes investigated a vehicle burglary reported near Baine Ave & Cherry St. The doors were discovered unlocked. Reported loss included registration documents and personal items.
 
11:15 AM Officers Piquette and Medina recovered stolen vehicles across the city.
 
1:56 PM Officer Diaz-Perez responded to a report of indecent exposure near Spruce St & Bridgepointe Dr. A 53-year-old male was arrested for outstanding warrants.  He was transported to Santa Rita Jail for booking.
 
2:02 PM Officer Shaffer was dispatched to a report of shoplifting near Jarvis Ave & Newark Blvd. A 36-year-old male was arrested for shoplifting and a court-issued warrant. He was transported to Santa Rita Jail for booking.
 
2:59 PM Officer Berlanga investigated a package theft reported near Cedar Blvd & Joaquin Murieta Ave.
 
7:40 PM Officer Stevenson responded to a disturbance reported near Lafayette Ave & Newark Blvd. A 21-year-old male was arrested for battery with a chemical spray agent. He was transported to Santa Rita Jail for booking.
 
SATURDAY, JANUARY 31, 2026:
 
2:49 AM Officer Berlanga initiated a traffic stop near I-880 and Thornton Ave. A 34-year-old male was cited for his outstanding warrant.
 
9:31 AM Officer Benjamin performed a security check near Ardenwood Blvd & Kaiser Dr. A 45-year-old male was arrested for narcotics and violating his probation. He was transported to Santa Rita Jail for booking.
 
10:24 AM Officer S. Torres investigated a vehicle theft from the area of Cedar Blvd & Thornton Ave.
 
11:18 AM Officer Lor investigated a vehicle theft reported on Mayhews Landing Road. Several hours later, the vehicle was recovered by a nearby agency.
 
1:48 PM Officer S. Torres conducted a security check near Cherry St & Thornton Ave. A 31-year-old male was arrested for a bench warrant. He was transported to Santa Rita Jail for booking.
 
8:09 PM Officer Kim responded to a disturbance reported near Gateway Blvd & Jarvis Ave. A 34-year-old male was arrested for domestic violence. He was transported to Santa Rita Jail for booking.
 
SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 1, 2026:
 
12:44 AM Officer Stevenson responded to a traffic collision near Willow St & Central Ave. A 27-year-old male was arrested for driving under the influence. He was transported to Santa Rita Jail for booking.
 
2:32 AM Officer Berlanga conducted a traffic stop near Cedar Blvd & Mowry Ave. A 20-year-old male was arrested for driving under the influence and without a license. He was transported to Santa Rita Jail for booking.
 
9:05 AM Officer S. Torres investigated a vehicle burglary from Newpark Mall Road that occurred on the prior evening.
 
9:15 AM Officer S. Torres investigated a vehicle burglary reported near Parada St & Potrero Dr. Reported loss included a bag containing electronics and personal accessories.
 
9:16 AM Officers Taylor and Jackman both investigated Catalytic Converter thefts reported across the city.
 
9:59 AM Officer Lor investigated a vehicle theft reported near Lake Blvd & Edgewater Dr. The vehicle was later recovered by a neighboring agency.
 
11:20 AM Officer Jackman responded to the area of Haley & Bettencourt Streets for a report of a vehicle theft. Several hours later, the vehicle was recovered by a nearby agency.
 
3:38 PM Officers responded to a suspected homicide near Mulberry St & Thornton Ave. The investigation is ongoing.
