The male victim, 30, was in the listed area when he was approached by the suspect, who shot him. The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment of a non-life-threatening injury. There is no suspect information.
2. Weapons Arrest (2230) Airport Way and Eighth Street, Park District
Officers conducted a traffic enforcement stop in the listed area. Officers contacted the driver, who advised that she had a handgun in her purse. The driver was detained, and officers searched her purse and found the loaded firearm. ARRESTED: Nona Moran-Haynes, 45, for weapon charges.
3. Assault with a Deadly Weapon (0125) 4900 Block of Jetty Drive, Seaport District
The male victim, 43, observed the suspects trying to break into his car. The victim walked out to check when one of the suspects pointed a firearm in his direction before fleeing. The victim was uninjured. SUSPECTS: Four unknown race males.
