INCIDENT: PC 207 - Kidnapping
LOCATION: 16000 block of Merrill Street, Victorville
SUSPECT(S): Unknown Female
SUMMARY: On Sunday, February 1, 2026, deputies from the Victorville Police Station responded to a report of an assault involving a vehicle.
During the investigation, deputies learned an unknown female suspect arrived at the victim’s residence in a vehicle accompanied by the victim’s sister. The victim approached the suspect’s vehicle and requested the suspect to allow her sister’s friend to exit the vehicle; however, the suspect refused. The victim then reached into the vehicle through the driver’s side window in an attempt to unlock the door. At the time, the suspect rolled up the window, trapping the victim.
The suspect proceeded to drive around the block at a high rate of speed while the victim was partially trapped inside the vehicle. The victim repeatedly screamed for the suspect to stop and let her go; however, the suspect refused and continued driving. While the vehicle was in motion, additional passengers reached out of the rear driver’s side window and struck the victim multiple times.
After approximately several minutes and traveling an estimated quarter mile from the victim’s residence, the suspect stopped and released the victim. The suspect then fled the area in a dark colored, four-door sedan. The victim sustained injuries as a result of the incident and received medical attention.
