Monthly Test Announcement
This is a test of the Franklin County Office of Emergency Management & Communications Emergency Alert System.
Testing of local warning systems, including outdoor warning sirens, will occur at 10:00 AM in accordance with Illinois State Statute.
Some communities have the ability to conduct silent testing. As a result, an audible test of outdoor warning sirens may not occur, especially during inclement weather.
This monthly test is an excellent opportunity to ensure you have multiple ways to receive emergency alerts from the National Weather Service and local officials.
