INCIDENT: P.C. 245(a)(2) – Assault with a deadly weapon
LOCATION: 13800 block of San Gorgonio Road, Victorville
SUSPECT(S): Mario Rosas, 41-year-old, Resident of Victorville
SUMMARY: On Monday, February 2, 2026, the Victorville Police Department received a report of an assault with a firearm that occurred on the 13800 block of San Gorgonio Road.
The investigation revealed an argument between two adult male family members occurred outside of a residence. During the argument, the suspect retrieved a firearm from his vehicle and discharged one round at the other male. No injuries were reported. The suspect fled the scene in his vehicle.
On February 3, 2026, detectives from the Victorville Police Department served a search warrant at Mario Rosas residence on the 12000 block of Cypress Avenue, Victorville. During the search, detectives located four firearms.
Mario Rosas was arrested and booked at High Desert Detention Center in Adelanto for, Penal Code 245(a)(2) – Assault with a Firearm.
