Today, Feb 5th, 2026, the Lake in the Hills Police Department will be moving from their current police station at 1115 Crystal Lake Road to their brand-new police headquarters at 2600 Village Hall Drive (behind COSTCO, next to the Lake in the Hills Village Hall).
This move will occur throughout the day today. The estimated opening at the new headquarters is 5pm.
Police services will remain fully operational from the Crystal Lake Road station today and there will be NO interruption to police services during the move.
