We have been made aware of fraudulent emails being sent from an account claiming to be Village of Shorewood Hills Board President John Imes. The subject line reads:
DOCUMENT PROVIDED FOR YOUR REVIEW
These emails are not legitimate and are not associated with President Imes or the Village.
If you receive an email that seems suspicious – even if it appears to come from a known name – do not click any links or respond. Always verify the sender’s email address and contact the Village Hall if you’re unsure.
