LOCATION: Multiple Locations Within the City of Yucaipa
SUSPECT(S): Edgar Arriaga, 30-year-old, Resident of Fontana
VICTIM(S): People of the State of California
SUMMARY: Between the months of November 2025, and January 2026, there have been several criminal reports of graffiti throughout the City of Yucaipa using the monikers; "CTE,"AFS," and "BFOR." Through investigative efforts, deputies positively identified the suspect as Edgar Arriaga, of Fontana, and linked him to multiple graffiti vandalisms in Yucaipa.
On February 5, 2026, Yucaipa deputies and detectives served a search warrant at Arriaga's residence, where additional evidence related to graffiti vandalism was found and collected. During the search, deputies located a firearm with a large-capacity magazine, and ammunition. Arriaga is a convicted felon and prohibited from possessing such items.
Arriaga was arrested for PC 594(b)(1) - Felony Vandalism, PC 29800(a)(1) - Felon in Possession of a Firearm, PC 30305(a)(1) - Felon in Possession of Ammunition, PC 32310(a) - Possession of a Large-Capacity Magazine, and PC 640.6(a)(1) - Graffiti, and was booked at the West Valley Detention Center. Arriaga is currently being held on $30,000 bail and the investigation remains ongoing.
