Special Weather Statement until 11:30PM
A fast moving weather system will produce a short 4 to 5 hour period of accumulating snow late tonight into Friday morning. The snow, potentially heavier at times, overspreads the area between 6 AM and 8 AM EST. The snow then tapers off toward midday with total snow accumulations generally around an inch or two. This will likely result in slick travel and snow covered roads impacting the morning commute. Accordingly, motorists are urged to plan for extra time to reach their destination Friday morning.
