Activity for February 5, 2026: Officers responded to 48 calls for service, made 5 arrests, and 35 traffic stops.
Activity for February 5, 2026:
- A driver struck a parked patrol vehicle in the 100 block of East Robinson Street. A 36-year-old female received a citation for driving with a revoked license, and was arrested on an outstanding misdemeanor warrant.
- Officer Brooker made contact with a subject at West Franklin Street and First Street. A 31-year-old male was arrested on an outstanding misdemeanor warrant.
- Officer Castro and Officer Morse were dispatched to the 1000 block of Adrian Avenue for a larceny report. A firearm was entered into the national database as stolen.
- Officer Brooker responded to the 700 block of Greenwood Avenue to assist JFD with an arson investigation.
- Officer Jones was dispatched to the 1600 block of Lansing Avenue for a parole violation. A 31-year-old male was arrested for parole violation.
- Officers responded to an assault in the 300 block of South Elm Avenue. A 73-year-old male was transported to the hospital. The suspect has been identified, but has not been located yet.
- Officers visited multiple schools during the day.
- Officer Soloman attempted to speak with 2 subjects near West Biddle Street and South Jackson Street, and both subjects fled on foot. Sergeant Mosier was able to apprehend 1 subject; Officer Schram and K9 Taz located the other. An 18-year-old male was arrested for carrying a concealed weapon, and resisting and obstructing. A 16-year-old male was lodged at JCYC for resisting and obstructing.
