Meridian Man Arrested on Multiple Rape Charges
MERIDIAN, ID –
Meridian Police detectives recently received a tip regarding an adult male posting multiple videos of himself having sexual intercourse with an incoherent, incapacitated female in a chat room on the social media platform Telegram.
The male was identified as Meridian resident Thomas SPENCER (50). Meridian detectives were able to identify the adult female victim during the investigation. The female did not consent to the activity, was unaware that the videos were made, and had no recollection of the activity.
Police also learned SPENCER was receiving pharmaceutical controlled substances via mail from others on Telegram. Spencer admitted to using these drugs to incapacitate his victim multiple times over a five-year period to incapacitate them and allow him to perform these illegal acts.
SPENCER was arrested on February 6th and booked on five counts of rape and five counts of video voyeurism, all felonies. The investigation is ongoing and more charges may result.
