On behalf of Mayor Michael Johnson and Haledon Emergency Management Coordinator Carlos Aymat, the Haledon Office of Emergency Management reminds residents that a Code Blue is in effect due to dangerously cold temperatures and strong winds.

It is important to be reminded that the Senior Center in the Haledon Municipal Complex always serves as a Warming Center, providing shelter from freezing cold temperatures.
If you, or a resident you know, are in need of shelter during these weather conditions, you are encouraged to make use of this facility. For accommodation, please check-in with the Haledon Police Department Front Desk.
Please check on elderly neighbors, bring pets indoors, dress in layers, and use heaters safely.
