Deputies Seize Firearms, Drugs in Crestline Narcotics Investigation; Four Arrested

DATE/TIME: January 13, 2026, at 9:00 a.m.

INCIDENT: HS 11378 – Possession of a Controlled Substance for Sale
                   HS 11370.1 – Possession of a Controlled Substance while Armed
                   PC 29800 – Prohibited Person in Possession of a Firearm 

LOCATION: 23800 Block of Inspiration Road, Crestline
                    1000 Block of Mercury Way, Crestline


SUSPECT(S): Skylor Biery Dorius, 36-year-old, Resident of Crestline
                        Abbygayle Syfers, 23-year-old, Resident of Crestline
                        Jayleen Biery, 63-year-old, Resident of Crestline
                        Toby Evans, 66-year-old, Resident of Crestline

VICTIM(S): The State of California


SUMMARY: On January 13, 2026, deputies from the Twin Peaks Sheriff's Station served search warrants in the 1000 block of Mercury Way and the 23800 block of Inspiration Road in the community of Crestline in regards to the sale of narcotics and the illegal possession of firearms. The warrants were served simultaneously with assistance from the Detective Bureau, Big Bear Station deputies, and K-9 officers.

As a result of the investigation, deputies recovered twelve firearms of various calibers, several hundred rounds of assorted ammunition, hundreds of empty baggies, commonly used for narcotics sales, several different types of digital scales, an electronic money counter, suspected MDMA pills, over two pounds of marijuana, several baggies of individually packaged suspected methamphetamine, suspected cocaine, and a large quantity of drug paraphernalia.

Based on the totality of the investigation, and in coordination with the District Attorney's Office, deputies arrested Toby Evans, Jayleen Biery, Skylor Biery Dorius, and Abbygayle Syfers for multiple narcotics and firearms violations.
