The Mahwah Water Dept. currently has a second water main break in the township on Oweno Rd. in front of #122. Once we are completed with the previous one from Island Rd. we will move on to Oweno. If you live in the area you may experience some low water pressure or discolored water. If you have any discolored water please run your COLD faucet only, until it clears. As with the first one it is cold outside so this will cause an icing condiotion in the area. We will most likely be closing Oweno Rd. to through traffic from Oweno Pl. to Airmont Rd. All access for residents will be from Airmont Rd. We will work as quickly as possible to make the necessary repairs and limit any inconvenience to our residents.
