The Hawthorne Police Department Traffic Bureau advises residents that Emergency NO PARKING signs have been posted for snow removal operations on the following streets:

Effective beginning at 6:00 AM
Washington Avenue

From Diamond Bridge Avenue to Washington Street

NO PARKING on the EAST curb line

Corresponds with odd-numbered addresses

When traveling south toward the train station, this applies to the left-hand side of the roadway
Central Avenue

From Lafayette Avenue to Lincoln Avenue

NO PARKING on the SOUTH curb line

Corresponds with even-numbered addresses

When traveling east toward Lincoln Avenue, this applies to the right-hand side of the roadway
Rea Avenue

These temporary restrictions are necessary to allow the Hawthorne Department of Public Works and the Hawthorne Police Department to conduct snow removal operations, ensuring safe travel conditions and access for emergency services.
All vehicles must be removed from the listed streets by 6:00 AM on Tuesday, February 10, 2026.
Vehicles remaining in violation may be subject to enforcement.
