Ho-Ho-Kus, NJ — February 10, 2026 —The Mayor and Council are pleased to announce that the Borough of Ho-Ho-Kus has been awarded $944,000 through FY26 Federal Appropriations legislation under the Interior/Environment Subcommittee for replacement of aging water main infrastructure. The funding was included as Congressionally Directed Spending in the FY26 Senate appropriations package and has been signed into law.
This award advances 2031 DEP regulatory compliance while helping offset costs that would otherwise fall to local taxpayers. The Borough is taking a proactive approach to plan ahead of that timeline. Project scope and timing will be determined through the Borough’s capital and utility planning process.
The application was prepared by Bruno & Associates, Inc. of Clifton, New Jersey, the Borough’s grant consultant. With this award, total federal, state, county, and foundation grant funding secured through the firm’s work since 2024 totals $2,618,559.47.
