Parking and Snow Removal Update - Wednesday 2/11

PARKING AND PUBLIC WORKS SNOW REMOVAL

• Alternate side parking remains suspended citywide, except in the areas where snow removal is taking place as listed below.

• Metered parking is back in effect and will be enforced as usual.

To support snow removal operations, residents are asked to remove vehicles from the following locations:

Eighth Ave. – 300 block

Seventh Ave. – 300 block

Atkins Ave. from Boston Way to Mattison Ave.

Borden Ave. from Springwood Ave. to Heck Ave.

Ridge Ave.

Plowing in these areas is scheduled to begin on Wednesday, February 11, 2026, and may continue into the following days until all areas are fully cleared. Please keep roadways clear during snow removal operations.

SIDEWALK SNOW REMOVAL AND CODE ENFORCEMENT

Property owners and business owners whose properties abut or border a street must clear snow and ice from sidewalks within 12 hours after snowfall ends, or within 24 hours if a state of emergency is declared, in accordance with City Ordinance § 13-302.11. This requirement is actively enforced. Violations will result in a court summons and a $100 fine.

Clearing sidewalks ensures safe pedestrian access and supports deliveries, essential services, and residents with mobility challenges.

Sidewalk snow removal violations should be reported to Code Enforcement at 732-502-5742.
