Simi Valley Police Revoke Licenses for Three Local Massage Parlors

On January 29, 2026, the Simi Valley Police Department’s Special Enforcement Team, in collaboration with the City’s Code Enforcement and Building and Safety Divisions, participated in a countywide code compliance operation focused on massage establishments within the City of Simi Valley. During the operation, multiple businesses were inspected, and several violations were identified. As a result, three businesses had their licenses to operate within the city revoked.

The City of Simi Valley remains steadfast in its commitment to serving the community and ensuring a safe, welcoming environment for all residents and visitors. Public safety is a top priority, and the city works collaboratively with local law enforcement, business owners, and community partners to uphold standards that protect public health and welfare. This includes regular engagement with licensed massage establishments to promote compliance with regulations, support legitimate businesses, and address concerns when patterns of non-conforming activity arise. By fostering open communication, providing education on licensing requirements, and enforcing applicable laws fairly and transparently, Simi Valley aims to deter illicit activities while nurturing a vibrant local economy.

The Simi Valley Police Department’s Special Enforcement Team (SET) is an entity within the Special Enforcement Bureau and was established as a crime suppression unit meant to address various crimes within the City. Those duties include the enforcement of lewd/dissolute conduct in public, Human Trafficking enforcement, ABC (Alcohol Beverage Control) enforcement investigations and assessment, the enforcement of street-level narcotics, warrant service on wanted individuals, and gang enforcement.

The Simi Valley Police Department would like to thank the Community for its ongoing support and partnerships that make the City of Simi Valley a safe place to enjoy and live.
