The Spotswood Division of Senior Services invites you to a Senior Home Care Forum for Spotswood residents 55 and over who own and live in their own home or mobile home. Topics will include:
- Free home safety assessments
- CDBG grant available to help pay for recommended safety upgrades
- Weatherization assistance
- Utility assistance
Attached is a flyer with specifics about the upcoming event as well as details about eligibility for CDBG funds. PLEASE NOTE: The CDBG grant is being administered differently this year.
- Safety repairs will be identified via a home safety grant scheduled through our office.
- The maximum grant is $1500.
- Applications will be accepted from March 1 - March 31, 2026
- You must meet the income requirements and provide requested documentation to be approved.
- Priority will be given to residents who have not previously received CDBG grant funding.
- A maximum of 30 homes will be approved. Others will be placed on a waitlist if any funding remains.
