1. Assault with a Deadly Weapon (1223) 3200 Block of Blue Ridge Circle, Lakeview District
The female victim, 54, had just arrived in the listed area when the suspect chased her. The victim tried to flee, but the suspect pulled her to the ground and then fled back into the residence. Responding officers attempted to get him to surrender peacefully, but he refused. The suspect threw a metal object at the officers and missed. Officers eventually took the suspect into custody after a brief struggle. ARRESTED: Kent Lisius, 35, for assault with a deadly weapon, battery, vandalism, and an outstanding warrant.
2. Assault with a Deadly Weapon (1230) 2100 Block of Fontana Avenue, Civic District
The male victim, 23, was arguing with the suspect when the suspect lunged at the victim with a knife. The victim was able to deflect the knife away and called for help. Responding officers took the suspect into custody without incident. ARRESTED: Phillip Gallihar, 22, for assault with a deadly weapon.
3. Assault with a Deadly Weapon (1536) 2400 Block of East Sonora Street, Park District
The male victim, 59, was in the listed area cleaning the porch to his residence when the known suspect opened the gate, brandished a firearm, and shot in his direction. The victim was not injured, and the suspect fled. SUSPECT: Hispanic male adult.
