Man Arrested After Shooting, Attempted Carjacking in Adelanto; Second Suspect Sought

SUSPECT #1: Reondre Green, 29-years-old, Resident of Adelanto
SUSPECT #2: Unidentified, Black Male Adult, 6' tall, Muscular Build

VICTIM(S): Confidential, Adult Male

SUMMARY: On Monday, February 9, 2026, at 2:37 p.m., deputies from the Victor Valley Station responded to a report of shots fired in the 18600 block of Casaba Road in Adelanto.

Upon arrival, deputies learned two adult males approached a residence and contacted the victim outside of the location. The investigation revealed that one of the suspects, later identified as Reondre Green, pointed a handgun at the victim and also struck him on the head with an object.

It was reported that a second suspect also assaulted the victim. The suspects attempted to take the victim’s vehicle but were unsuccessful. Green discharged a firearm at the victim, but the victim was not struck by the bullet. The two suspects fled from the scene before deputies arrived. The victim sustained minor injuries and was treated at the scene.

On Tuesday, February 10, 2026, at 2:21 pm, Deputies along with SED (Specialized Enforcement Division) served a search warrant in the 23000 block of Yucca Loma Road in Apple Valley. Reondre Green was arrested at the location and later transported to the High Desert Detention Center where he was booked on the above charges.

The second suspect has not been identified and is described as a black male adult, approximately 6' feet tall, with a muscular build.
