Coyote Advisory – 3300 Block of Lake Mendota Dr

Shorewood Hills PD has received reports of aggressive coyote activity on the east end of Lake Mendota Drive.

• Do NOT approach coyotes

• Keep pets leashed and supervised

• Remove food sources (pet food, bird seed, garbage)

• If encountered, make yourself look larger, make loud noises, and slowly back away — DO NOT RUN

If you encounter an aggressive coyote, call 911 immediately.

Report sick or injured animals to authorities. Use caution and remain alert.
